G-WADI's Climate Risk-Informed Decision Analysis (CRIDA) Publication Now Available in Spanish
Climate Risk-Informed Decision Analysis (CRIDA) is a bottom-up water resources planning framework that helps us to make better informed decisions in water management under future uncertainty using robust, flexible approaches that can be institutionalized into consistent, replicable, and accessible outcomes. The five-step CRIDA methodology has been described in a 2018 UNESCO-ICIWaRM publication, which has been featured in a UNESCO open learning course, a webinar series, and various international workshops.
Now this publication is available in Spanish. Titled Análisis de Decisiones Basadas en el Riesgo Climático: Planificación Colaborativa de los Recursos Hídricos para un Futuro Incierto, the publication is freely available from UNESCO. In addition to the G-WADI major initiative within the Intergovernmental Hydrological Program, UNESCO's Regional Bureau for Science in Latin America and the Caribbean and the Regional Water Center for Arid and Semi-Arid Zones in Latin America and the Caribbean contributed to the translated product.
